Print the Help... | | Classification CodesClassification Codes represent broad subject categories within specific databases, such as "Affective Disorders" or "Criminal Rehabilitation and Penology". Searching on the codes is a convenient way to subset the database into subject areas. The Classification Codes tools displays a list of the subject categories, arranged according to their structure within the tree of headings. From the Classification Codes display you may expand or collapse branches of the trees, view scope notes for individual subject categories, post terms to a new set on the Main Search Page, and Explode selected categories to search broad areas of coverage within the database. |
